Definition
“Customer” means a buyer of products from this website
“Products” means any products listed for sale on this website from time to time
“Seller” means Mecasso and Pacific Rim Traders who own this website.

Ordering From This Website
By using this website, registering as a member on www.mecasso.nz, www.pacificrimtraders.co.nz, purchasing goods or subscribing to our newsletters you accept the terms and conditions listed below. You are responsible for all actions taken with your user name, email address and password. Therefore we do not recommend that you disclose your account details to any third parties.
Your personally identifiable information will only be shared with third parties when we believe in good faith that we are required to do so by law.
Delivery
If accepted the Product will be delivered without liability by the Seller to the address nominated by the Customer at the expense of the Customer as expeditiously as possible (See Delivery Information).
Estimated delivery timeframes are as advised by the Seller’s nominated carriers. The Seller shall be under no liability for any delay or failure to deliver the Product within the estimated delivery time.
Pricing & Information
The prices on our product pages, shopping cart and checkout are in NZ dollars.
All stated pricing is subject to change. The Seller reserves the right to change Website pricing due to Product or delivery service supply price changes, foreign exchange fluctuations, changing market factors and other extenuating circumstances.
All orders for delivery within NZ will include GST. Products sent outside New Zealand will not have New Zealand GST added but may incur duty and other importation taxes at their destination and the Customer is responsible for these additional costs.
While the Seller uses reasonable efforts to include accurate and up-to-date information on the Website, the Seller makes no warranties or representations as to the Website’s accuracy. Every effort has been made to provide accurate Product images however all images provided on the Website are intended as a guide only. The Seller assumes no liability or responsibility for any errors or omissions in the content of the Website.
Changes
The Seller reserves the right to update, revise or change any information listed on the Website at any time. Any such changes will take effect when posted on the Website and it is the Customer’s responsibility to read the terms and conditions and confirm the price of the Product(s) on each occasion when he/she uses this Website. The Customer’s continued use of the Website shall signify his/her acceptance to be bound by the latest terms and conditions.
The Seller’s liability and responsibility is excluded in respect of any and all loss, whether direct or indirect, including , without limitation, loss of profits, loss of data, loss of business or anticipated savings, general and special damages, and consequential and incidental loss.
Indemnity
You agree to release, indemnify and keep indemnified the Seller from and against all actions, claims, costs (including legal costs and expenses), losses, proceedings, damages, liabilities, or demands suffered or incurred by you.
If any part of this agreement is determined to be invalid or unenforceable pursuant to applicable law including, but not limited to, the disclaimers and liability limitations set forth above, then the invalid or unenforceable provision will be deemed superseded by a valid, enforceable provision that most closely matches the intent of the original provision and the remainder of the agreement shall continue in effect.
Cancellation
The Seller may cancel these terms and conditions or cancel delivery of Product(s) at any time before the Product(s) are delivered by giving written notice. On giving such notice the Seller shall promptly repay to the Customer any sums paid in respect of the price for those Product(s). The Seller shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever arising from such cancellation.
Payment
Products displayed on this site can be purchased using the PayPal secure on line MasterCard and Visa transaction facility. Customers can be confident that all of their details are protected by PayPal’s stringent security mechanisms and are used only for purposes of the transaction.
As well as via PayPal, New Zealand Customers can also make payment direct to Seller’s bank account, or in cash if collecting purchased Product’s from the Seller’s premises.
Product Descriptions, images and errors
We try our best to describe our products as accurately as possible, however due to different lighting conditions, colours may appear different. Items may appear larger or smaller in pictures, so please refer to the size or measurements in product descriptions where applicable.
Use of this Website by you
The material on this Website is not to be downloaded, modified, transmitted, or otherwise used for any public or commercial purposes.
Refunds/Returns
We will fully refund you on any returned item for any reason you are dissatisfied with the item/s you have purchased from us, provided that
The product has not been used.
The product has not been damaged.
The returned product is accompanied by the original receipt
The product is returned to us in its original undamaged packaging
The product must be returned within 14 days of receipt
Postage charges when returning goods are the responsibility of the Customer
Some items may incur a 15% restocking fee, please contact us before returning any items
We will provide a credit for any short deliveries. Once your order has been lodged for delivery we cannot cancel or change you order.
Updating Your Personal Details
You can update your personal information and contact details at any time, by logging in to our website and selection the “Account Details” menu option. Upon request we will provide a copy of information kept.
If our information practices change at some time in the future, we will post the policy changes to our website to notify you of these changes and provide you with the ability to opt out of these new uses.
